Don't know if you can see it in the picture, but those are snow flakes in the air. Can barely see across the lake at times. We did have a few brave souls that ventured out today, but she was a chilly one. Funny thing is they are forecasting 70's by end of the week.

Well the good news is that the first Rapids is pretty easy to make it through. The bad news is that the 2 me Rapids is almost impassible right now due to the low water. We are not sure if we will move the walleye lake boats to portage across from camp, or put some shuttle boats at top of 2nd Rapids. I'll figure that out in next couple of days. Anyways, all the portage lakes are ready to go. Here is a shot of Trout Lake that I set up today. Just to remind us that we are in the north, they are calling for a couple of inches of snow for Monday. Well at least the ice is all gone off the lake. Went out on April 30th this year which is just about normal. We have been dry this spring, and there have been several forest fires in the area already. We'll back to work, opening day is this Saturday.
