Hello Everyone, we have had some fantastic weather up here for the end of September. We are close to wrapping up the main fishing season, but we will have muskie fishermen in till November. I do want to remind everyone of the rebooking deadline is at the end of the month. If you want to rebook your same cabin and same week, please email (best method) or call me (I could be hard to reach sometimes). The deadline to rebook is by Wednesday night. Please double check your dates, as 2016 is a leap year, so the week that you normally come may change is it was lining up with a certain week end or holiday. Also 2016 will see a late start to the walleye season. Our opening day won't be until May 21st. If you are looking to change weeks or cabins, then starting October 1st, I should have the online booking all updated so you will be able to check out availability for the different cabins and weeks. Now for some Stanley's news, if you came before the middle of August you would not know that we are building a new cabin for 2016. The 4 bedroom Pine Marten was taken down, and we are now in construction of a new 5 bedroom / 5 bathroom cabin on the same spot. We have poured the footings last week and moving forward as fast as we can to get the building framed in before the bad weather arrives. I will post updates along the way, but here is shot from last week with the concrete ready to be poured. Looking forward to hearing from everyone in 2016, and remember if you do have a large group coming, the new cabin (un-named at this point) will be available for this spring!
