Spring update.....what spring?
We'll nature has been playing a joke on us all this spring by not showing up. We have been subject to below freezing nights and snow flurries on a regular basis. Hopefully the end is near. They are predicting warmer temperature by this week-end. We really need it because in two weeks from today we will have our first guests on the dock all ready to go fishing.
It i...s going to be close.....We need lots of sun and rain to make it happen. We have never missed an opening day before, so I am hoping that this won't be the year that it happens.
As for lake levels, it is hard to say at this time, but it is not looking like the run off will raise the water levels too much. It will be up to the spring rains to make a difference in the water levels. Again, it is a wait and see what happens.
Let's just hope it all comes into place so we can actually use the boats for opening week and not ice augers!
